Outreach & Public Relations includes volunteer opportunities that help Haywood Pathways Center connect with the wider community, share our mission, and bring services beyond our campus. These roles are ideal for volunteers who enjoy hospitality, storytelling, technology, photography, community engagement, or representing Pathways in public-facing ways.
Volunteers serving through Outreach & Public Relations may help with opportunities like Pathways To-Go: Meals Within Reach, which expands our long-standing to-go meal service into the community; Photography & Technology, which helps capture and share the story of our work; and Holy Cow Food Truck Ambassador, which invites volunteers to offer welcome, conversation, and connection through one of Pathways’ most visible community outreach tools.
This initiative helps strengthen relationships between Haywood Pathways and the community we serve. Whether handing out meals, taking photos, sharing stories, greeting neighbors at the food truck, or helping others understand the work of Pathways, volunteers play an important role in building trust, awareness, and connection. Through their presence and service, they help carry the mission of Haywood Pathways beyond our walls.
