Haywood Pathways Center is looking for volunteers to help staff our informational table at community events throughout the year. This is a meaningful opportunity to represent Pathways in the community, share our mission, and help connect people with ways to support neighbors in crisis.
Volunteers in this role help create a warm and welcoming presence at public events. They may greet attendees, share basic information about Haywood Pathways, hand out brochures or other materials, invite people to sign up for more information, and encourage interested community members to learn more about volunteering, donating, or getting involved.
This is a great fit for someone who enjoys friendly conversation, community outreach, and helping others understand the mission and work of Haywood Pathways.
Volunteer responsibilities may include:
- Greet event attendees with warmth and kindness.
- Help draw people to the Haywood Pathways table in a friendly and respectful way.
- Share basic information about Haywood Pathways Center and the services we provide.
- Hand out brochures, flyers, small giveaways, or other informational materials.
- Encourage interested attendees to sign up for more information about volunteering, donating, or supporting Pathways.
- Help keep the table neat, welcoming, and stocked with materials.
- Represent Haywood Pathways in a positive, respectful, and welcoming way.
- Ask Pathways staff for help with questions you are unsure how to answer.
